Honduras Ministries believes that human hearts need to be transformed by the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which will lead to improved communities and living conditions for all.

 

We partner with local pastors and community leaders to break the bonds of systematic poverty and oppression prevalent throughout Honduras in areas that are ignored by the government, where people are trying to survive on less than $1.50 per day.

The primary vehicle for serving these communities is a Child Enrichment Program that provides:

​

•     Instruction in nutrition, hygiene and life skills

•     Monthly food supplements for each family in the program

•     Quarterly medical / dental check ups

•     Instruction and counseling for parents in family life skills

​

By doing these things, we intend to reduce the starvation, death from disease and other evils (such as human trafficking) that are part of daily existence in these regions.
